Rockstar Games announced that the PC version of the game will be released on October 29, 2024. This version marks the first time it will be available to PC players after originally launching on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010, a gap of 14 years. Additionally, the iconic “Undead Nightmare” expansion will also be included in this release.
The new PC version promises impressive graphics and performance enhancements, supporting native 4K resolution and up to 144Hz. It will feature support for ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9) monitors, HDR10, and full keyboard and mouse functionality. Performance upgrades will also be made possible through scaling technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.
Rockstar stated that this version has been developed in collaboration with Double Eleven, and high-resolution visuals will be offered to enhance the gaming experience. Pre-order details for “Red Dead Redemption” and “Undead Nightmare” will be shared shortly.
